A fine, highly decorative, still-life painting by listed California painter, muralist, Myer Shaffer. The painting is signed, lower left with a painted signature, "Myer Shaffer" and with a signature inscribed in the paint, "Myer Shaffer, Oct. 25, 1932".
Shaffer was born in NYC, May 25, 1912, studied art at Chouinard Art School and with D. A. Siguerios and resided in Los Angeles in the 1930's-1940's where he painted Murals for the Federal Art Project.
