A fine lithograph of Belvedere Cove in Marin County, California by well known Northern California artist, Alexander Stern. Although not examined out of the frame the lithograph appears to be in excellent condition aside from some possible light mat burn. A slight rippling of the paper suggests that the print is not laid down to the backing. The overall size of the frame is 17 1/2' X 20".
Alexander Stern, printmaker, painter and illustrator, studied at Columbia University and California School of Fine Arts. Stern worked in New York on art commissions 1935-1944, returning to California and establishing a studio in San Mateo, California.
