A fine large ceramic pottery bowl by, Pond Farm artist, Lynn Bowers. The bowl is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips other than a slight separation firing crack under the inside the foot where it meets the body of the bowl.
Lynn Bowers graduated from Reed College and the Portland Art Museum School in 1965. She studied with legendary Bauhaus potter, Marguerite Wildenhain at Pond Farm, between 1962 and 1964 and again in 1970's and 1980's. She established "Fox Hollow Pottery" in Eugene, Oregon in 1971. She also does costume design for ballet and opera and also does residential mural painting.
