Each volume is illustrated with 10 magnificent chromolithographs and jam packed with numerous, full page, black and white illustrations and many other black and white illustrations within the text. Most of the chromolithographs still have the original tissue inserts to protect the prints. All prints are bright, beautiful and in excellent condition with no staining or foxing apparent. These are great books, just for the art alone and feature some of the finest chromolithographs that I have ever seen.
As I'm sure any dealer or collector can tell by my descriptions; I am not an expert in antiquarian books. Nevertheless, I have tried to describe the books accurately.
